Class is relatively easy and has many resources available for any problems or difficulties you do encounter. Lots of graded assignments, but the workload was never overwhelming as long as you kept up, and I genuinely felt like I was learning useful skills nearly the entire time. And a plus, the prof. is very friendly and kind.

Great caring professor. Prof Davis was the nicest prof. I've had so far. There was lots of work in the class to be done, but Prof Davis has a great due date system. I really liked he took the time to write me a personalized e-mail about my hard work in the class and my A grade. Def would take another Prof Davis class again.

Great professor! Highly recommend! He is very kind and flexible! If you spend enough time practicing the concepts from tutorials, and ask questions, you will have a very enjoyable time learning Excel/SQL and Business Computing Concepts.

Easy concepts to grasp with tutorial videos. Heavy on excel, minor on DBMS programs (AirTable), kind of impossible not to succeed if you put in the work. 3% extra credit was offered to my class, and I personally didn't use it. Professor provides clear feedback and TAs are available to assist.

I really enjoyed the course and they style in which it was set up. The professor was professional but also kind. Office hours with the professor and TA's were in abundance, so there was always help available if needed. This class does carry a heavy workload.

I took this class online and professor Davis was very helpful and informative, which can be difficult as an online professor. He consistently kept us up to date on the assignments and sent encouraging messages to keep us motivated which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend taking his course.

Jonathan Davis is a very emotionally mature professor and wants you to succeed in this class. The course was super easy, but it is fast paced with 2x the extra homework than a regular course. You will have to know what you learned in the chapters in order to pass the tests, there is no loop hole so keep up with homework.

CIS 105 was not exactly easy, but it was filled with skills you will definitely be able to use in most careers. You need to put time in and do the work. Don't wait until the last minute like I did a few times because to catch back up takes some serious time.

First online course, and he made space to reach out , when I wasn't delivering assignments on time. Professor Davis was very present in the class which does not always happen with online courses. He clearly tells you at the beginning of the semester of what is expected. Provides plenty of assistance including multiple TA office hours. Also gives you leniency on submitting late work. If you pace yourself, do the reading assignments, and pace yourself you will be just fine.
